An important part of all I share is talking about my holistic toolkit. It is a cheerful passion of mine that was illuminated and grown through my vestibular something experience. I explored many avenues to unfold what was happening to my body and how I could support my health. I was left with little encouragement from the medical doctors I’d seen, so it gave me a rather hard shove to start doing the work myself. I should explain that I absolutely believe that there are brilliant medical doctors out there. I can only speak to my experience and talking with many other Vestibular Warriors, that there seems to be a lot unknown about vestibular conditions. Deciding on a diagnosis felt like a guessing game. It was a common occurrence that a doctor would offer up medicine for my “vestibular problem”, which I think is something that shouldn’t be taken so lightly. What about supporting my overall wellness in healing?
My comeback involves a nourishing diet, whole food supplements, stress reduction, chiropractic work + craniosacral work, foam rolling, talk therapy, pure essential oils, self-care, yoga, meditation, and a migraine-preventive medicine (I share about weaning off that here).
The amazing part about lifestyle shifts is that they are within our power to support the mind and body in fueling vitality. I believe in the power of food as medicine and I love my plant-based diet for the life it gives me. I believe in supplements to fill any gaps, pure plant essential oils for mind and body support, and movement to strengthen and cleanse my body. I also believe there is a place for western medicine. Each of these components has played a part in my treatment.
I incorporate all of these things into my wellness practice to help Vestibular Warriors. Everything is linked as I'm a doTERRA wellness advocate (which I jumped into when my vestibular something hit) and I appreciate all of your support. I'm excited for you to fuel your vibrant health!
Below is my holistic toolkit of supplements and essential oils that I have used throughout my healing journey and it continues to fuel my health.
