Em here, and this is my first post about the bliss out movement that is just dancing in my soul and I'm so excited to share it with you, connect, and inspire one another! If you're new here, skip over to my 'about em' page, but then come back because I want you to be a part of this. We are:
I'm currently in the process of writing the official bliss out guide that will be the heart + soul of this space, but instead of releasing the e-book all at once, I'm going to share bits and pieces through posts here, and then when it's in final form, you can get your own full copy to refer back to as you level up your wellness and flourish.
I want you to uncover all that is honestly you, and by that I mean everything that makes your soul happy, everything that excites you in this life, everything that creates passion, all the obstacles that you've faced, all the beauty that you've stumbled across, your heart, your mind; your entire wellbeing.
It takes a whole lot of soul work to become in tune with all that makes up you, and along the way it's not always easy. There may be roadblocks that you have to face and harder elements to uncover, but I believe it's worth it. This process is a lifelong journey and my hope would simply be to open the door and inspiring a mindset of gratitude and an empowered perspective.
Let's be honest: life will always have its obstacles. But thank goodness for them! It's climbing mountains that open the soul. Think of it like this: If I asked you to go on a four mile climb straight up a monstrous hill with me, my guess is that in the beginning we would be doing pretty good. At the beginning it's flatter and the adrenaline might be kicking in, so it would feel easy and our conversation might be about every-day-stuff: talking about our day and making small talk. But then the climb gets harder, we're at mile two and it's feeling like a mountain that is just a straight up climb. Neither of us have the energy anymore to be anything other than REAL.
We start talking about how f****** hard this hike is and we might start talking about stuff in our life that really isn't feeling all that fulfilling and things we wish we could do. And then eventually we're laughing because we're so exhausted, and when will we ever get to the top?! I'd probably eventually tell you about my vestibular disorder, how it was the absolute worst + best thing that ever happened to me (and maybe even mention the vestibular warrior guide I wrote as a result of it). Eventually I'd have no energy left and I'd probably just spill how I have this vision to create a movement for people taking control of their wellness even when it seems impossible. I might start to cry and say that dealing with a chronic condition (like vestibular migraines) is beyond heartbreaking, and I don't want anyone else to feel that way. Instead I want them to know that they have a holistic support system to take charge of their life. So that when tough shit happens they would feel empowered to work through it, and with a force because they would have the natural toolkit to do so.
You'd tell me your dreams that maybe you've never even said out loud. I'd tell you to put it on a big poster board in your home and look at it every day as a reminder of all you are capable of and so that part of your soul is right in front of you every day.
Before we know it, we're at the top of the mountain, the weight of the world has fallen from our shoulders and we're just looking at the view. Life looks so easy from way up here, isn't it? No responsibilities, no baggage or emotional weight, none of the mundane life stuff, no money stress, nothing to focus on, but enjoying that moment.
Then I'd thank you from the bottom of my heart for going on this journey with me and how happy I am to have you be a part of it. I'd hand you the bliss out guide, which is my heart + soul that goes through the elements of what I believe is the support system to nourish + flourish in this life.
You might not have any idea what I'm talking about (yet), or maybe everything I said resonates with you on a deep level and your soul is just yearning to live the big + beautiful life that you deserve to.
Ok, Em here again. That's what I want you to envision when I begin sharing the bliss out guide. This is your opportunity to so much goodness. I can't wait to keep sharing with you, so stay tuned and I'll be back soon.
