Hi out there. I'm Em, Founder of Bliss Out Holistic Wellness and healer with a mission to help others thrive in this human experience. My goal is to help you achieve your full human potential.
I am an AFPA Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Certified Autoimmune Holistic Nutrition Specialist, with a Plant-Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell and T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. I'm also an author of two books for Vestibular Warriors (which I wrote to heal my soul and provide light and love in the universe), and a passionate Health Advocate for chronic wellness. I use doTERRA essential oils and natural products in my wellness practice because doTERRA is a beautiful company making an incredible impact in this world when it comes to empowered healthcare.
Lifestyle medicine is the future of vibrant health and I'm so glad that we've connected! I believe that we should all be in the driver's seat when it comes to our health and wellness as we navigate the twists and turns of this life. After all, this human experience is all about creating bliss.

vestibular warrior
I’m a Vestibular Warrior (for me that means healing from vestibular neuritis + vestibular migraines). My full story can be found here. I created this space in early 2018, and it was incredibly therapeutic to (finally) share my experience with journeying with and healing from my vestibular something. Connecting with others living with a vestibular condition means the world to me. In this space, I share the mindset, nourishing diet and natural toolkit of essential oils that encouraged my healing and supported me along the way (and continues to!).
That experience shaped me in a big way as all tough times do if we let them.I am overflowing with gratitude and bursting at the seams to share what has helped me along the way.After countless moments of pleading with the universe to provide me with guidance, as I sat one December night on my family room floor listening to music that made my soul dance, this space was born.

In the autumn of 2019, I self-published my bookUncovering Bliss: A Journey With A Vestibular Condition and Beyond. I tell my story of getting hit with a vestibular condition seemingly out of the blue, exploring my way through healing, and eventually thriving with my vestibular condition and beyond. This book is my heart and soul transformed into the words, thoughts and feelings that decorated a chapter of my life. Writing is the perfect medium for sharing stories that are harder to tell through the spoken word and this was especially true for me when I was in the messy middle of a health crisis where I couldn’t make sense of how I had even fallen into the chaotic storm or if an exit existed.
In the spring of 2021, I self-published my second book Creating Bliss In Your Life With A Vestibular Condition and Beyond. It encompasses those lessons and understandings that I picked up along the way. It’s about putting the power in our hands when it comes to our wellness because in my mind that is the ultimate goal. I’m a mom of two beautiful boys that are my light and love in the universe.
I made a cross country move to the Pacific Northwest with my family in the summer of 2019, and I'm so happy to call it home.
I'm most comfortable when my hair has some pink color in it and I've got a matcha latte in hand.
I've embraced a wholesome plant-based diet and lifestyle since 2009, because it provides the sustenance for my happy soul. Simply put, it changed my life and how I approach food and my health not only just for me, but our world. I'm a lover of delicious and nourishing foods. My happy place is on the trails just feeling my body work for me. I also am a big fan of writing, dream setting, and connecting and inspiring with others wanting to make the most out of this life.
If I’m not chasing my boys around, I’m most likely out and about exploring Seattle with my family, in my kitchen listening to a podcast and baking something with cacao, getting in a move + meditate session, or reading from my never-ending list of books.
