If you’re like me, you’ll explore this space and refer back to it to truly absorb the goodness.  There may be parts that resonate with your soul and other parts that are brand new awakenings.  Awesome, I love that.  Ten years ago everything that plays a big role in my happy + wellness – all that I share here – just didn’t exist in my life.  And then over time, small shifts here and there over moments, days, months, years...I nourished my body and truly started to flourish, developing a lifestyle, routines and habits that led to a 'blissed out' life.  This process of learning and evolving is never-ending and thank goodness because that is our vitality. 

I truly  believe that our routines are the framework for a happy soul, the food we nourish our bodies with is fuel for our mind + body, and our perspective has the power to change everything. Habits are not formed overnight and lifestyle changes take heart, patience and a willingness to truly become in tune with oneself and feel from within what's working and what's not. ​

It may not always feel like it.  I get it.  I'm a vestibular warrior and dealing with a chronic condition that requires a mental resilience that I didn't know I had, feeling 'out of control' is not an area I'm stranger to.  But even in the moments of feeling ‘out of control’, that is when all that is YOU is screaming to shine bright.  The next time your mind is racing, you’ve got a million things to do and you don’t know where to start, or maybe you’re yearning to change something in your life- I ask that you sit still for a few minutes...or longer.  Put your headphones on and listen to music that sings to your soul  (I'm a Spotify fan) and just feel all that emotion.  Let the noise fall to the background and focus on you and how you want to feel in this life: think radiant vibes. 

What may happen next is clarity.  A clearness and what’s left is beautiful you and your truth sitting with your blissful soul.

Creating this space was something on my mind continuously during my experience with a vestibular disorder.  I was (and continue to be) on a journey of taking a holistic approach to heal, support + nourish my body.  I'm sharing my experiences because battling a vestibular disorder is heartbreaking on so many levels, and I don’t think anyone gets through the human-experience unscathed. In an instant I lost myself, only I looked the same on the outside- the world couldn’t see it (a blessing + a curse), but on the inside I was, simple put, broken.  Over that period, I built new-found confidence, strengthened my mind + body, and learned the true magnificence of this life.  I was able to bring this space to fruition in the moments when I once again felt grounded- my version of recovered and bursting with gratitude for the progress I’d made.
